The creation of this short film was as unique as the story itself. Daniel and Delia traveled all the way from Singapore to Greece for their vacations. They wanted to create a prewedding film in Greece to show at their wedding reception back home.
At that time, I was experimenting with virtual reality headsets. This technology inspired me to write a short, dream-like story. Surprisingly, the couple loved this unusual concept. It is not your typical prewedding video, yet they gave me the green light to bring it to life.
A few months later, we met in person for a two-day shoot. Working on this prewedding film in Greece was an amazing experience. The landscape provided the perfect canvas for a story that blurs the lines between reality and dreams. We are very proud to present the final result here.
As a filmmaker, I always look for couples who want to push the boundaries. Daniel and Delia were the perfect collaborators for this creative journey. Their trust allowed me to explore a cinematic style that is both personal and innovative.
If you are planning your own prewedding film in Greece, don’t be afraid to dream big. This project, “Dreamtime,” is a testament to what happens when classic beauty meets a modern, scripted concept. I hope you enjoy this small film as much as we enjoyed making it.
Special thanks to Stamos SA for providing us some additional gear to make this video a reality and to Sotiris Apostolou for the last minute help with a location scouting.
